The AT

On February 20, 2000, Brian left on his long-awaited hike on the Appalachian Trail. Before he left many friends and relatives said they wanted to hear from him and see some of the pictures he planned to take, so we are compiling a number of web pages as he goes.

These pages have been changing. At first we had only our own pictures, and news from a few phone calls, then we received some rolls of film to develop and could add these, then Brian sent some email messages, and finally he sent home his first "journal"---daily musings written down in small journals which Rebecca made. The journals are small enough so that they don't take up a lot of weight or space, and have enough pages for about 12-15 days worth of adventures.

We are going to try to keep each page in chronological order. So we'll put any pictures and email messages we receive on the last page, until he mails us another section of his journal, and then put them all together. Hope this works!
